Terms of Service

1. The service

Dapple analyses a selfie to estimate your personal colour season and produces a colour report and palette. It also offers an AI stylist, an outfit checker, a shopping assistant, styling tips, and a daily colour pick. Colour analysis is provided for personal styling guidance and inspiration — results are an informed estimate, not a guarantee.

2. Using Dapple

You don't need an account to use Dapple — you can start straight away. Dapple is intended for users aged 17 and over, and you're responsible for the device you use it on. Some features rely on third-party providers (see our Privacy Policy for who they are and how your data is handled).

3. Purchases, subscriptions & pricing

Full Colour Report — £9.99, one-time purchase. A single payment that unlocks your complete colour report and palette. Not a subscription; it does not renew.

Style Companion — auto-renewing subscription. Starts with a 3-day free trial, after which it costs £39.99 per year or £7.99 per month, depending on the plan you choose. Prices are in GBP and may vary by region and currency as shown at the point of purchase.

Billing & auto-renewal. Payment is charged to your Apple ID at confirmation of purchase. If you don't cancel at least 24 hours before your free trial or current period ends, the subscription renews automatically at the price above. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Managing & cancelling. All purchases are processed by Apple; subscription status is managed for us by RevenueCat. Manage or cancel any time in your device's Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions. Refunds are handled by Apple under the App Store terms.

Affiliate links. Some styling suggestions include links to retailers. We may earn a commission on purchases made through them; this never changes the price you pay.

4. Acceptable use

Don't misuse the app: no reverse-engineering, scraping, reselling, uploading images you don't have the right to use, or submitting unlawful or harmful content. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service.

5. Not professional advice

Dapple's analysis and stylist suggestions are for personal styling guidance only and are generated in part by automated systems and AI. They may be incomplete or inaccurate and are not a substitute for professional advice. Use your own judgement.

6. Intellectual property

Dapple and its content, design, and trademarks belong to us. We grant you a personal, non-transferable, revocable licence to use the app. Your colour report is yours to use for personal purposes.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.

8. Termination

You may stop using Dapple and delete your data at any time from Settings → Delete my data, or by uninstalling the app. We may suspend or end access if you breach these terms. Sections that by nature should survive (e.g. IP, disclaimers, liability) continue afterwards.

9. Changes & governing law

We may update these terms; material changes will be reflected by the date above. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory consumer protections in your country.
